Projection Screens

These are specially made screens made of various materials including laminate, plastic and fabric. Until recently, they were commonly used by business people for presentations in the work place and by schools and colleges, however more and more people are using projector screens for gaming and home theater usage.

There is a broad range of projector screens available and at various prices. On the Dragons Den programme fairly recently, a new screen was introduced which stuck to the wall and when used following a presentation, it was then discarded, this solution is cheap and cheerful and handy if you provide lots of presentations were space is a premium. More conventional projection screens can either tripod or wall mounted dependent on space and the nature of the presentation you are putting on. Projection screens vary in price but there are many bargains to be had for the business on a budget.

Projectors
With you screen you will no doubt use a projector, again the choice is considerable and the quality factor is primarily based on the ANSI Lumen of the projector. Whilst a cheap projector may seem a good deal, if its resolution and ANSI Lumen count is taken into consideration, the picture quality may seem poor.

Recommended Projector Screens:

Acer P1200 3D Capable Projector 3000 XGA 3700 |

Optoma DS316L DLP Projector 2700 ANSI Lumens Brilliant Colour

ANSI is measurement tool measuring the brightness and contrast of a projector, thus the higher the better – A/Lumen 1000 v A/Lumen 2500 the bigger figure would be better quality, this would be noticeable on your projector screen by way of vivid colors etc.

Point here is : Cheap Projectors – you pay the price with lower quality presentations

Warning:
Low quality projection screens will never reflect a great presentation.
A good quality projector needs to have high ANSI Lumen s count.
